Joy Pod

Joy Pod Assembly: Students continue to work hard on the different aspects of our Peace Assembly.  The theme for our assembly is "Joy."  Students have been contributing in a variety of ways for our assembly either through artwork, writing, technology, drama, citizenship, community building and/or music.  Students with speaking parts have been busy practicing with Mr. Kelly, Ms. Galbraith and Ms. Woo.  Today, students in Elbow were busy filling the "Mustard Seed" socks and are looking forward to presenting these on Friday.  All students will be participating in the singing of the two songs, "Joy to the World," and "Joy."
Parents of Joy Pod are invited to join us for our assembly on Friday, November 30th at 11:00 am.

**Students are being asked to wear on the day of the assembly clothes that bring them 'Joy.' Some of the ideas that has been presented by students is wearing a favorite shirt that brings them joy, a special dress, a shirt with their favorite colors or a jersey of their favorite sport team.  Anything that brings them joy!  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email your responsibility teacher.**
