On Monday and Tuesday, November 5th and 6th, the Grade 1/2 teachers are participating in a two-day workshop at Fish Creek Park on environmental sciences and inquiry at the elementary level.
Our Grade 1/2 students participated in a variety of learning activities led by Mrs. Kinsman, Mr. Ker, Mr. Kelly, Mrs. Shepherd, Mrs. Southworth and substitute teachers, Ms. Woo, Ms. Hosseini, Ms. Califatis and Ms. Sampson. Parents of Grade Two Students:
All missed Grade 2 students who parents gave permission to participate in the University of Calgary, regarding the impact of fluoridation in the city's water will be seen on Nov. 19. Should any parents of Grade 2 students who did not initially provide consent but are now interested in participating in the study on Nov. 19, please contact Ms. Low at kmlow@cbe.ab.ca for a permission form.

PLASTIC LIDS:
Joy Pod is looking for plastic bottle cap lids (brown, white/clear, yellow, orange, green, red, blue and black) to use in a recyclable art project. These lids can be found on pop bottles, milk jugs and other drinks. Please think of us when recycling these lids...we will need a TON!!!
