We reflected on our week and recorded some of our learning in our visual journal.

Chickadee and Elbow- we had our Roots of Empathy baby visits! We were very excited to meet Adelaide and Kinuri and we learned about what they can do and how they communicate their feelings.

Aspen- We had our class presentation with the Kananaskis in the Classroom to learn more about butterflies and moths.

Parents of Grade Two students:

Grade 2 students were given the opportunity to participate in a study by the University of Calgary regarding the impact of fluoridation in the city's water.  Sampling was done on those students whose parents consented to their participation, but due to time constraints, researchers were not able to get to all students.  The researchers will return on Nov. 19 to sample those remaining students.  Should any parents of grade 2 students who did not initially provide consent but are now interested in participating in the study on Nov. 19, please contact Ms. Low at kmlow@cbe.ab.ca for a permission form.

Thank you!
