Spreading Joy beyond Eric Harvie School: Students in Joy Pod are working hard to fill socks for those less fortunate. We are collecting the following items for, The Mustard Seed: If you are able to support us in this amazing work, please send these items to school:
· Nail clippers Travel-size shampoo Travel-size conditioner Travel-size lotion
· Disposable razors Transit tickets Deodorant Men’s and Women’s briefs (NEW)
· Toothbrushes Q-tips Travel-size body wash Travel-size shaving gel
· Towels Socks Earplugs Lip balm
· Combs and brushes Travel-size tissue Blankets/sleeping bags
We are also collecting clean socks to stuff the collected items in.
We will be collecting items until Thursday, December 6th
Tamarack and Aspen Book Orders are due Wednesday, December 5th. Chickadee and Elbow Book Orders are due on Thursday, December 6th.
Please let your child's teacher if any of the items you have ordered are gifts and you don't want them sent home with your child. We can hold items in the office for you to pick up.

Veteran’s Food Bank Drive
We will continue to accept donations for the Veteran’s Food Bank right up to December 20/18. They have removed our full boxes but are hopeful families will still make occasional donations to help meet their significant needs. Thank you in advance!
Scholastic Book Fair
Students will have opportunities to preview the books during school time on the December 4th. . If parents wish to send funds with children to purchase books themselves, they may on December 5th and 6th. Parents are invited, as well, to come to the school during school hours to purchase books – just please sign in at the office first The book fair will be open to parents and students after school from 3:05 - 3:30 pm for purchasing books as well.

Scholastic books and gadgets make great Christmas gifts and stocking
stuffers for chilldren. Also, teacher classroom Wish Lists for favourite books will be posted. Parents are able to purchase books as gifts for teachers for their classroom libraries - they make great teacher Christmas gifts as well!
