Tomorrow is our Winter Sports Day: Please have your child dress appropriately for being outside! Our annual Winter Sports Day will take place in the afternoon 12:20 to the end of the School day. We still have space for volunteers to join us. See below for a link to sign up. Thank you.
School Council sent home with your child a sample box of cards. The box contains 33 gorgeous "All Occasion" greeting cards for $33! Each box
purchased will generate $11 in profits for our school. Order forms and fundraising
information is included in the bag with the box of cards. Please have all order
forms returned to the school by Thursday, February 28th. Further questions or

Valentine's Day:
Remember to bring in your personalized Valentine cards tomorrow. We ask that if students are bringing Valentine cards that they bring enough Valentine cards for all students in the classroom.

Math:
On Tuesday, February 19th we will celebrate 100 days of school. We would love to encourage students to decorate a t-shirt at home with 100 things and wear this on Tuesday, February 19th. If you are thinking of decorating a t-shirt with 100 things you can find ideas if you “Google 100 days of school t-shirts" or "Pinterest." Have fun planning! If you have any questions, please feel free to email your responsibility teacher.

Inquiry:
Please take a moment to ask your child what they are and have been learning in their inquiry group.
- Glenbow Museum Open Minds Inquiry group just finished bringing in items for their "Me Museum."
- Telus Spark Science Centre Open Minds Inquiry group has finished making a visual dictionary and beginning to design a mini golf course
- Vivo Open Minds Inquiry group has been discussing "how does our body work when we play?" and "how does our mind work when we play?" Students have been looking at pictures of VIVO's space and discussing what we do in those spaces.
