Today we had a kickoff assembly with the whole school to get us ready for the Terry Fox Run on Friday. Wendy Kennely, the Regional Director of the Terry Fox Foundation Alberta/NWT/Nunavut spoke to the school about our fund raising goals, our Toonies for Terry jar, the t-shirt give away draw for those who return a pledge form, and we watched a short video.

We will acknowledge Orange Shirt Day on October 1st. Please wear an orange shirt to help us keep the discussion of residential schools happening each year. *********************************************************************************
